In the event you are ill or not quite sure if your situation requires immediate medical attention, the nurse will come to your location, begin the full assessment, and, if necessary and in some cases, recommend an ER visit. The client has a right to refuse to seek hospital treatment at this time. However, they must sign a waiver denying medical advice so as not to hold the nurse responsible.
